Buttons for Brathay Marathon & 10k

Saturday March 29th & Sunday March 30th

All events are now full, final race instructions will be emailed later this week.

The Buttons for Brathay Bells and Whistles race festival has been organised by runners for runners.   The races are all-inclusive events aimed at everyone - whether experienced multi- racers or novice runners.   It's for this reason we decided on a weekend including a 10k as well as back to back marathons.  Though the races all have small fields, the multi-lap nature of the course makes for a friendly atmosphere.

All races are multi-laps along the Dover Seafront and Prince of Wales Pier - with thanks to the Port of Dover for the use of their land.

Features include:

•  9.00am Start (Marathons) - 11.00am Start (10k)

•  Handmade race memento

•  Seaside themed goody

•  Flat course on tarmac promenade and concrete pier

•  Fully stocked aid station

•  Loos and cafe on the course

•  And all within the shadow of the historic White Cliffs of Dover - can't promise there won't be someone doing their Vera Lynn impressions!

•  Other 'extras' in the pipeline - watch this space!

Buttons for Brathay is a not for profit venture set up by Kaz Hurrell as part of her fundraising for the Brathay 10in10.
